If you are a resident of Hawaii, and seeking the right health insurance coverage for you and your family, there are some options available for you to choose from. Depending on your specific needs, you will need to review each plan in detail to determine which one is the best value for you. Also, in Hawaii you are not guaranteed the right to be able to purchase insurance, except if you are federally eligible.
For an individual, couple, or family, there are three general categories available to purchase health insurance through, the first is private companies, the second is through an association, and the third is insurance via income eligible programs.
